Using your own designs, you will be making pendants similar to those above throughout the course. Each individual piece of jewellery you make will be unique and original. No two will be identical. You will be able to put your own creative flair into each piece.

All courses are held in my studio at Curborough Hall Farm, in the beautiful city of Lichfield.

Honeycomb Crafts began back in the 80‘s as a card making venture. I loved handcrafted cards and decided to make my own to send to relatives and friends. As a Christian it seemed apt to a take a name for my ’cards’ from the Bible. Prov.16:24 came to mind ... “Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones”. ‘Honeycombs’ became my trademark.
I love crafts of every description but have always had a love of glass. Several years ago I got the opportunity of helping out at a local glass studio, became friends with the owners and in the course of time Honeycombs started life again but this time in enamelling. I had seen this wonderful art demonstrated at the school where I worked and it was just so inspiring I had to try it. Courses were so expensive that I went out and bought my very first kiln and equipment and taught myself, working in my kitchen. With a lot of encouragement I began teaching enamelling at the glass studio and enjoyed every minute spent there until the time came for me to branch out on my own.
Now a new era in my life begins, for which I consider myself to be blessed. I found just the right place and now have my very own enamelling studio where I make and sell my work. I will also be giving demonstrations each weekend and Bank Holidays and will be running courses/workshops in enamelling for beginners throughout the year.
I just love this art of fusing glass to metal and I would be pleased to show you some of the jewellery I make and what is taught on the course if you’d care to drop in at the studio.
